Hi Diane,
The M1F is as follows: From the front, lift loop between stitches with left needle, knit into back of loop. So you’re making a new stitch out of the the yarn that sits in between two stitches. I believe it’s also called a M1L. I’ll add it to the post to be a little more clear. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I really like your Ear Warmer….
Since I am a beginer I have problem understanding pattern.
Could you tell me what m1f In this sentence mean?

On wrong side: sl1, p1, knit into the back and front of next stitch, m1f, *p1, k1*, repeat between * until last two stitches, p2.

I do the same thing! People think I’m nuts to plan a meal 14 days in advance, but it really does cut down on costs and time, too. I hate constant trips for one little thing!

Thanks for sharing this book suggestion. I too have “used” Subversion, and totally get the importance of it, but I don’t understand it nearly as well as I should.

I start work Monday as the Systems Librarian at a nearby university, charged with managing and planning the libraries technologies. So, I think I’ll pick up a copy of this book and start reading it myself.
